Our Global Poker Championships (GPCs) are legendary, and this season, we're taking it up a notch. Introducing the Global Poker Championships Season ‘24–’25! This season we’re linking the four Global Poker Championships together for a dramatic showdown, culminating in the most epic Finals ever. Get ready for champion-sized prizes and the chance to battle it out in Las Vegas to crown the one and only Global Poker Champion!
Throughout the year, four Championships will unfold, featuring one GPC each quarter. We’ll be kicking off the ‘24–’25 season with The GOAT VI, followed by Eagle Cup VIII, Grizzly Games VIII, then Rattlesnake Open VIII. That’s four chances to achieve champion status and snag truly epic prizes along the way.
But why settle for one shot at glory? Compete in any of our four Championships and you, our friend, could be vying for the ultimate Championship title in our end-of-season finale — one of which will be held in none other than Las Vegas! We promised to shake things up this year, and boy did we deliver.
That’s right, in addition to the usual Championship nuggets, 9 boss Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin players (see details below) will earn their spot in the GPC Season ‘24–’25 GC and SC Final, where more action and prizes await.
It’s simple: play in any — or all, for the die-hards — of the Global Poker Championships for a shot at qualifying in the end-of-season grand finale.

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE GPC SEASON FINAL ‘24–’25
To secure your spot in the GPC Season Final ‘24–’25, follow these steps:
- Register for the Global Poker Championships: Compete in one or all of our beastly tournaments — make like a bear, snake, goat or bald eagle for your chance to qualify.
- Climb the Leaderboard: Aim for the top of the Leaderboard to secure your place in the Finals. Each series will crown one GC and one SC Leaderboard Winner to go through the Final.
- Stack up your trophy cabinet: The player who wins the most Gold Coin or Sweeps Coin trophies in any individual GPC during the season will be crowned the Player of Series. Each individual GPC will select one GC and one SC Player of the Series to go through to the GPC Season Final ‘24–’25.
* If there is a tie, the player with the most final tables will go through to the Final. If there is still a tie, we will select the player with the most GC or SC coins won during each individual GPC.
- Qualify for the GPC Season Wild Card Tournament: On the final Sunday of the Rattlesnake After Party 2025, the top 10 players from each GPC Leaderboard will compete for the last spots in the Season ‘24–’25 Final. One winner from each Leaderboard (GC and SC) will advance to the final showdown.
There will be 9 final players selected in total for each Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin GPC Season Final ‘24–’25. If there are repeat or duplicate winners (e.g. if the same player wins Player of the Series and the Leaderboard) the runner-up of the Leaderboard will go through to the Final.
If the Player of the Series and Leaderboard Winner has already won an entry to the Final from a previous GPC, the runner-up on the current GPC Leaderboard will go through to the Final.
WHAT YOU CAN WIN
GPC SEASON FINAL ‘24–’25 GOLD COIN CHAMPION
9 Gold Coin players — 4 Leaderboard winners + 4 Player of the Series + 1 Wild Card winner — will duke it out in an intense online tournament at the end of the GPC season on July 15, 2025. Only one will emerge victorious, earning the honor of having the 2025 GOAT GC Opening Freeroll named after them. Along with this, they’ll receive a neat selection of Global Poker swag, and of course a coveted Global Poker Champion trophy.
GPC SEASON FINAL ‘24–’25 SWEEPS COIN CHAMPION
For aspiring Sweeps Coin champs, the road to victory is paved with glory — and it leads straight to the bright lights of Las Vegas. Our top GPC contenders will gather for an electrifying showdown in the heart of Sin City. We’re sending the best of the best — 4 Leaderboard winners, 4 Player of the Series, and 1 Wild Card winner — to Vegas to compete for glory and the title of Sweeps Coin Champion.
The triumphant victor will not only take home a Champion trophy but will also receive a custom avatar, be featured in an exclusive interview on the Global Poker Academy, and have the 2025 GOAT SC Opening Freeroll named in their honor.
GPC SEASON ‘24–’25 FINALISTS
Of course, we wouldn’t send our finalists home empty handed. Every participant in the GPC Season ‘24-’25 GC Final will receive a selection of Global Poker threads, while Sweeps Coin participants will shine in the spotlight with an exclusive player profile featured on the Global Poker Academy.
