The competition is heating up! We’re now into our second Celebrity Challenge round, with another superstar basketballer, Karl-Anthony Towns, ready to dominate the felt.
Once again, we’ll be giving Global Poker players the chance to slam dunk in a series of fast and furious Qualifiers where winners will get to play against the baller himself.
From 3 October, running until 10 October, we have a bunch of Sweeps Coin qualifying events in store for Global Poker players to participate in. One winner from each Qualifier will advance to the Final, where they’ll have the chance to play against Karl-Anthony Towns and compete for some pretty awesome prizes. Karl-Anthony Towns Qualifiers—October 3–10
Running October 3 until 10, get your head in the game for your chance to qualify in our Karl-Anthony Towns Celebrity Challenge.
There are eight Sweeps Coin Qualifiers in total, taking place from October 3 – 10. Players will compete for the chance to win a slice of the prize pool, exclusive Global Poker swag signed by Karl-Anthony Towns, and to secure a place in the Karl-Anthony Towns Celebrity Challenge Final, where they’ll get to play against KAT himself.
For those who are lucky enough to make it through to the Karl-Anthony Towns Final, you’ll need to register to play in the Final yourself. A free entry will be added to your account as soon as you’ve won the Qualifier, so once you see that in there, you can register for the Final immediately.
Karl-Anthony Towns Celebrity Challenge Final Winners
One player from each Qualifier will go through to the Karl-Anthony Towns Final, which will run on October 11. Those eight Finalists will get to battle it out against each other and Karl-Anthony Towns, for a chance to win a place in the Global Poker Celebrity Challenge Grand Final in November.

Heads-Up Challenge: Kat Vs. Phelps
As well as shooting hoops with Karl-Anthony Towns, players can also watch with anticipation as all four of our poker playing celebs go head-to-head in a series of heads-up poker battles.
Each celebrity will play against the other over the course of the series—don’t worry, you can catch all the live action right here on GlobalPoker.com—so don’t forget to come back to this page to tune in!

Whoever wins the best of three games donates $10,000 to a charity of their choice. We’ll release the winner of the heads-up challenge on this page, so check back on 15 October to find out!
2 Grand Final Showdowns
After the four Celebrity Challenges, we’ll be wrapping things up in November with two Grand Finals—one for the celebs; one for the Global Poker finalists.
Four Global Poker finalists from each Celebrity Challenge Final will get the opportunity to participate in our Global Poker Celebrity Challenge Grand Final on 12 November. They will compete for a chance to win a rather special Ferrari Race Day experience—an all-expenses paid trip to a Ferrari Race Day experience of their choice in North America.
Our four celebs will be dealt a slightly different hand—they’ll get to battle it out against each other in the Celebrity Challenge Grand Final on 13 November. Only one celebrity can claim the top spot, but the top three winners will donate $90,000 between them to charities of their choice. Who will come out on top?

Keep your eyes peeled for our remaining Celebrity Challenges. There are four in total, and we’ve got a hell of a line-up for you, featuring pro-ballers Paul George and Karl-Anthony Towns, megastar athlete Michael Phelps, and beats maestro, DJ Khaled.

What You Can Win—Superstar Prizes

Sweeps Coin Qualifiers stand to win a share of the prize pool, a Global Poker T-shirt signed by Karl-Anthony Towns, plus a seat in the Karl-Anthony Towns Celebrity Challenge Final, where the eight Finalists get to play against Karl-Anthony Towns himself.

Celebrity Challenge Grand Final
Sure, these guys are stars, but are they players? All will be revealed in our Celebrity Challenge Grand Final. Watch Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns, Michael Phelps, and DJ Khaled take their best shots in the ultimate celebrity knockout.
Only one winner gets to walk away with the cheese, and the opportunity to donate $40,000 to a charity of their choice. Second place gets to donate $30,000; third place $20,000.
