GLOBAL POKER

Players' Lounge

Today we find out a little about one of our fantastic GP players.

JON “UNDERDOGCA” W.

Underdog with big check

“UnderdogCA” with his big check; a nice memento of his magnificent win in the Rattlesnake Open IV Main Event.

1. Where do you live?

Aliso Viejo, CA.

2. Who’s your sports team?

San Diego Padres.

3. How long have you been playing poker and what’s your earliest or fondest poker memory?

I can remember being about 11 and playing with my cousins at my grandparents' house, but not for money.

4. How long have you been playing on Global Poker?

Since March 2018.

5. How did you hear about Global Poker?

Twitter.

6. What’s your biggest win, either on Global Poker, or in live play?

SC 23,095 in the Rattlesnake Main Event!

7. Tell us about your worst poker moment.

Any time “Chawell” wins the home game.

8. What’s your worst bad beat story?

They all run together in my head. Probably flopping a set of AA, getting it all in with 2 others on the flop and losing to a runner runner straight to finish 47th in a million dollar guaranteed tournament to win about $2,500 instead of being the chip leader with a chance at $250,000.

9. When you’re not playing poker, what’s your passion?

My family. Baseball.

10. If you could rename a GP tournament, which tournament would it be, what would you call it and why?

I'd rename The Micro to The Underdog because I've won it a number of times and it would be fun to have a small tournament named after me. (SuperSapi did it for one day but changed it back lol.)

Thanks “UnderdogCA” we love having you at Global Poker, and we’ll see you at the tables soon.
